Henry’s Heart Healers

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am participating in the Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research.

Henry was diagnosed with Tricuspid Atresia at 24 weeks gestation. This is a single ventricle defect, which typically requires 3 open heart surgeries during childhood. Henry had his first surgery, a central shunt, at 6 weeks old. He then had to undergo several other emergency surgeries due to complications. At 3 months old, Henry had his Glenn procedure. Henry has undergone 4 open heart surgeries in his first 14 weeks of life. He is not only an open heart surgery survivor, but he is also an ECMO survivor! Because of the research of The Children's Heart Foundation, Henry is able to now thrive and enjoy life at home with his family!
