They say it takes a village—and over the past 6 years, our village has shown up for us in the most incredible ways. We are deeply grateful to each and every one of you for your continued love, support, and encouragement throughout this journey.

As many of you know, we weren’t able to attend the 2024 Atlanta Children’s Heart Foundation CHD Walk because we were in Boston for three weeks during Ethan’s third open-heart surgery. But even from miles away, we felt the love. A group of our amazing friends walked on our behalf to honor Ethan, and their support—and yours—meant the world to us.

This year, we’re excited and hopeful as we prepare to walk in the 2025 Atlanta CHD Walk. We invite our friends and family to join Ethan’s Heart Heroes —whether by walking alongside us or supporting from afar. Every step and every donation helps fund vital research to improve, and even save, the lives of children born with congenital heart defects (CHDs).

Did you know that every 15 minutes in the U.S., a baby is born with a CHD? It’s the most common birth defect in our country—and yet so much more research is needed. That’s why the Congenital Heart Walk exists: to raise funds for The Children’s Heart Foundation and drive forward groundbreaking research into the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of CHDs.
