Atlanta Congenital Heart Walk

When our grandson Everett was born last August with a congenital heart defect (which was not known until he was born) we had no idea what was going to happen or what the future would hold. The doctors at CHOA were amazing and saved his life by performing a very risky cardiac procedure when he was only 3 days old. I'm happy to report that he is growing and thriving and a very happy 1 year old little boy. Although his future may look a little different than other kids, he's going to write his own anazing story and we will be along for the journey!

Seeing what he, and other children, have and will go through has inspired my commitment to making a difference by participating in the Congenital Heart Walk. It's not just a walk; it's a stride toward changing lives. This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation and their crucial mission - advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research.
