2023 AFAF Campaign ○ 4 FS Fighting FUUJINS
Stephen Tuwamo
From emergency assistance to educational assistance, to community programs, to helping widowed spouses stay in their home as long as possible, to providing a home for them when they no longer can -- the four charities of the AFAF Campaign provide assistance to us when we need it. I'm fundraising for the AFAF Campaign because not only have these charities helped people around me, they will be there for me tomorrow should I need their help too!!! Let's all pay it forward!!
GIVING TO A SPECIFIC AFAF CHARITY:
Your donation via the pathway to your base, squadron and Key Worker's fundraising page will provide each of the four Official Charities of the Department of the Air Force 25% of your donation. In doing so, you'll help move each thermometer up the chain! Unfortunately, this Peer-to-Peer donation portal won't allow for us to give you the ability to give to a specific charity.
If you do want to be able to specify the charities and amounts you give to each, you can use the below link to do so, however, your donation won't show up on the Campaign Event page or our base page, squadron page, or this one. Should you choose to use the link below anyway, PLEASE DO signify the base and unit of assignment on the 3rd page of the donation form though, because the official "AFAF Tracker Database" your Installation Project Officer uses to report actual donation amounts and pledges WILL be updated with your generous donation!!

The 2023 Air Force Assistance Fund (AFAF) campaign at Hill AFB kicks off March 6 and runs through April 14
The AFAF has four charities: Air Force Aid Society This charity works to support and enhance the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force missions by providing emergency financial assistance, educational support, and community programs for Air Force and Space Force families. AFAS uses 100 percent of every contribution received to help Airmen, Guardians, and their families. Air Force Enlisted Village The village located near Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field in Florida, provides care and support for retired enlisted members’ surviving spouses. Contributions also provide independent and assisted living and memory care so that surviving spouses can feel safe and secure in their communities. LeMay Foundation The foundation provides support through financial grants to help widows and widowers of all Air Force retirees, both officers and enlisted. The contributions ensure all military spouses receive the best standard of living so that they may live out their lives with dignity and care they so deserve. They are committed to keeping these spouses in their home, near family and friends. Air Force Villages Charitable Foundation Widowed spouses of retired Air Force and Space Force officers receive critical care and housing thanks to gifts to the Air Force Villages Charitable Foundation. More than 92 percent of those receiving assistance reside in assisted living, skilled nursing, or memory care, truly in the most vulnerable phase of their lives.
