We walk to raise awareness and support families affected by congenital heart defects because we are incredibly grateful. Both of our girls were born with CHDs, and we were fortunate to have access to outstanding hospitals, doctors, and support during the most critical years of their lives. We know how lucky we are; and we want to pay that forward.
Every 15 minutes in the U.S., a baby is born with a congenital heart defect. Before our own journey, we had no idea just how common CHDs are or how many families face this reality every day.
By raising awareness and funds, we help support vital research that saves lives, improves outcomes, and gives heart warriors the chance to grow up and chase their dreams. This walk supports The Children’s Heart Foundation and their mission to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of CHDs through life-saving research.
