Why we support the GVC

Formed in 1989, Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) is a Baltimore County-based land trust and watershed restoration nonprofit. When you donate to our team's fundraising page, you are directly helping GVC expand their capacity to:

  • Preserve land so future generations can enjoy clean water and open spaces
  • Create diverse habitat that is resilient to climate change and supports pollinators
  • Reduce pollution to our drinking water reservoirs
  • Engage volunteers of all ages in meaningful stewardship activities
  • Connect homeowners and businesses to resources to take action for clean water on their property
