I've decided to join this journey this year after volunteering at a nearby school as a Junior Achievement "Teacher".  I had the pleasure of meeting kids from varied socioeconomic backgrounds. I was there to share my knowledge; however, I ended up learning so much from them.  To view the world once again from the eyes of children is absolutely rewarding.

Like most, I have seen or read about events affecting the people of Ukraine.  While I was at the school, I meet a student who left her HOME of Ukraine to come to the United States with her family for safety.  This little girl has been here for a few months and have already adapted to not only a new place, but also a new language.  I don't think she realized she inspired me to do more because I had the honor of meeting her.
